We just docked in Florida after a wonderful 7 day Eastern Caribbean Cruise on the Carnival Splendor. Once again Tricia and performed in the Carnival Legends Show, Tricia as Gloria Estefan and I did the return appearance of THE KING, Elvis Presley. The sound and cameras are WAY better on this recording than last month’s attempt. I loved being on stage again!!!

No this not a Jeff Foxworthy setup line, but if you have ever wondered what a redneck is I have found a SURE-FIRE way to find one, drive to the nearest BASS PRO SHOP. My family and I are traveling in Fort Lauderdale, Florida right now and the Bass Pro Shop was right in the same parking lot as our hotel so we had to stop by and check it out.

Starting with the giant shark you could get inside before we even walked in, we had fun!

By the way, next door was actually the Fishing Hall of Fame, which I never even knew existed. I am not a fisherman, so the Hall of Fame and the Bass Pro Shop were all a new experience for me. If you hunt, fish or love NASCAR then this store is FOR YOU!!! Seeing that I enjoy none of the above I found this store a REDNECK PARADISE, and I bust out laughing (out loud) several times. I am not passing any judgment on this one, I just found that when you have passion about something in life you can make a MEGA STORE for it and those who are passionate about it will flock there!

It made me laugh, more importantly it made me THINK! This world is filled with people who like “stuff” but only those passionate in life make BIG DREAMS come true for bunches of people. (Walt Disney, Robert Redford, Ray Crock…)

The kids LOVE going to the Carnival Camp where they get to do activities, play games and be with other kids! We love being able to have them play fir a few hours and still have adult time together!

Tonight Tricia and I sang karaokee and we had a little stow-away with us! Actually all of the boys came and watched sing, Korbyn just got painted up as a pirate tonight. Kamryn fell asleep on Uncle Cliff at karaokee, but I did happen to get this picture of him in bed, he was a little CHIPMUNK tonight!

My wife, Tricia, myself, and two of our best buddies (Kyle & Jennifer Jones) are headed out to sea for 5 days to eat, workout and play an endless amount of board games. I brought Settlers of Catan (with 3 expansion and add-on games) as well as Carcassone!

Right in the middle of this beautiful little valley is Pineview Resevoir, a brilliant mountain lake; and where I am bobbing in a boat right at this moment. In the shade, of course! I will live in this valley!!! This is a valley without a single stop light and a great place to raise a family.
